The Chicago Police Department and the Mayor’s Office recently announced to gather community input on policing efforts, as well as the expansion of alternate response models that are aimed at strengthening safety citywide. The voices of the community organizations and members are critical to the City’s progress with community policing, workforce allocation, and alternative response.
